Lobster Tails, 7-8 Oz.
Lobster Tails, 7-8 Oz.
How does that work?
This is the same way you have always been charged at our counter — the scale decides, not the sticker. The released amount usually clears your statement within one to five business days, depending on your bank.
Picking up? Same thing — we hold, then charge what your order weighed. You will not be asked to pay again at the counter.
Seven to eight ounce tails. The right size for one person.
Cold water lobster tails, which have firmer, sweeter meat than warm water tails — the cold slows the animal's growth and tightens the flesh. Seven to eight ounces is a single generous serving.
How to cook it — Broil or grill, butterflied
Cut down the top of the shell with shears, lift the meat up to sit on top, and broil six to eight minutes with butter until the flesh is opaque and reads 140°F. Overcooked lobster turns rubbery and there is no coming back from it.
Good to know
- $39.99 per pound. Each piece runs 0.38–0.52 lb, about 0.45 lb typical
- Cut fresh at 700 Atlantic Street, Roseville — never pre-packed
- Vacuum sealed the morning it leaves
You pay for what you actually get
Everything here is cut by hand, so no two pieces weigh the same. This is the same way you have always been charged at our counter — the scale decides, not the sticker.
When you order online we place a hold on your card for the top of the weight range shown above. Nothing is charged yet. Once your order is cut and weighed we charge the actual weight, and the rest of the hold is released back to you the same day. It usually clears your statement within one to five business days, depending on your bank.
You are never charged more than the hold, and you are never charged for meat you did not receive.
